Hi there. I’m not quite sure what to write in the ‘about’ page, but every other blogger seems to fill theirs out so I’ll give it a shot.

I live in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania (a coastal country in East Africa) – but hope to move to the UK by September of 2009. I’m interested in poetry mainly and this blog is supposed to be my online repository of poems. I’ll also post anything else that takes my fancy though.

You’ll notice that the blog is titled ‘Absorbed’ instead of, say, ‘Poems’. You might also wonder why this is; well, I looked for something that could encompass creative nature in general, and came up with the word ‘absorbed’. You see, when I’m playing a piano piece or writing a piano, I try to absorb myself into the atmosphere of the creation, and let my hands do the rest – hopefully that made sense.
